Through a security deposit referral, Family Promise of Philadelphia helped her overcome immediate barriers to securing an apartment. Now working in property management, Candice has turned her past into purpose by partnering with our team to help house over 30 families in the past two years.

Meet the Women Powering FPP’s Food Donation Program
Each week, a group of women led by Susan Vineberg gathers to cook homemade, nutritious dinners for families served by Family Promise of Philadelphia. This partnership began in 2021, when Vineberg recognized the growing impact of food insecurity during the pandemic.
Her call for volunteers sparked an overwhelming response and, four years later, Women’s Connection still prepares more than 80 meals each month, totaling over 1,000 meals each year.
